Trying to move more but concerned about a previous injury or injury prevention? Come for a functional movement screening with fitness trainer and local business owner of Fit Chick Express, Angie Marone. During this two hour session, she will provide a helpful overview of the concepts in functional movement (analyzing movement quality and strength), an individualized screening and score for each movement, as well as a demonstration and handout of helpful stretches and exercises you can perform to improve your scores (i.e. the quality and strength of basic body movements) paired with a list of restricted movements or modifications for many common exercises (e.g. no jumping, no weighted squats, etc.). In the future, we can schedule another screening workshop with Angie to allow participants to gauge their progress. Investment is $75.
