Come experience the Iyengar yoga difference in this two hour Introduction to Iyengar Yoga Workshop. You’ll leave refreshed and renewed! This workshop will introduce the foundations of Iyengar yoga and will focus on proper alignment as well as extension and expansion, inviting students to develop increased mobility, strength, flexibility and stability. Certified Iyengar yoga teachers are specially trained to provide clear and precise instructions for each posture (asana) and are skilled at the effective use of sequencing and props (blocks, blankets, bolsters, and straps) in order to make postures accessible and interesting to students of all experience levels.
JESSICA YODER is Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher who has studied and practiced Iyengar yoga since 1999. Her yoga practice has served as an emotionally, physically, and spiritually grounding force in her life. She has had the opportunity to study with a number of senior level Iyengar yoga teachers and is committed to sharing her love of the subject with authenticity and precision to people of all ages and from all walks of life. When not practicing yoga you can find her running trails, bicycling cross-country, dancing, sitting in the sunshine and doing her best to connect authentically to all living things.
